Mr William WOO Chun Fai

Mr Woo graduated from the University of Cambridge and was admitted to practice in 1999.  His practice focuses on equity capital markets, M&A and listed company representation matters, particularly in connection with pre-IPO investments, listings, privatisations, compliance with listing rules and takeovers code, joint ventures and private equity work.

Mr Woo has more than 20 years of experience counselling numerous Chinese and international companies, private equity firms, public sector entities, and investment and commercial banks on their securities offerings and investments across Asia.  He advises a broad range of business sectors, including energy and mining, financial services, real estate, agriculture, technology, media and telecommunications.

 

Prior to joining our firm, Mr Woo was a partner in the Hong Kong offices of Latham & Watkins, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, and Allen & Overy.  He is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
