Mr William WOO Chun Fai

Mr Woo is a senior consultant of K. Y. Woo & Co. LLP and his practice focuses on equity capital markets, corporate and company representation matters, particularly in connection with pre-IPO investments, listings, privatisations, compliance with listing rules and takeovers code, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity work.  Mr Woo also advises on dispute resolution, real estate, family, wills and probate matters.  ​

Mr Woo has more than 25 years of experience counselling numerous Chinese and international companies, private equity firms, public sector entities, and investment and commercial banks on their securities offerings and investments across Asia.  He advises on a broad range of business sectors, including energy and mining, financial services, real estate, agriculture, technology, media and telecommunications.  Mr Woo qualified as a Hong Kong solicitor in 1999 and a solicitor in England and Wales in 2000.  Mr Woo became a China-Appointed Attesting Officer in 2018 and a Greater Bay Area Lawyer in 2024.

 

Mr Woo graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA degree in 1996 and an MA degree in 2000.  Prior to joining this firm, Mr Woo was a partner in the Hong Kong offices of several international firms.  He is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
