Mr Woo obtained his LLB and PCLL from the University of Hong Kong in 2003 and 2004 respectively after obtaining his BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California in 2000.  Mr Woo was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2012.  Before his admission, he was practising at the Hong Kong Bar between 2005 and 2012, with a litigation practice focusing on landlord & tenant, contractual disputes and commercial crime, and an advisory practice focusing on matters relating to fund setup, banking and SFC matters.  Mr Woo's current practice encompasses civil and criminal litigation, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, commercial and China-related matters.

 

Mr Woo was a member of the 7th and 8th China People's Consultative Conference of the Maoming municipality of Guangdong Province, the 10th Jiangsu Province All China Youth Federation, the Hong Kong United Youth Association and the YElites Association.

 

Mr Woo is a consultant to China Taxation Agency Co Ltd, the premier tax firm in China.

 

Mr Woo is a nephew of Mr KY Woo and Mr David Tang and cousin of Mr William Woo.
